Gameplay handbook
This browser ship battle rewards position and timing in a short real-time match. Read your ship's handling and ammunition before committing to an attack.
Turn with A and D, adjust sail with W and S and fire with Space, or use the on-screen controls. Place the enemy beside your ship so a broadside can strike its moving hull. Wind, reload time and damaged equipment affect the next opportunity to shoot.
Use 1, 2 or 3 to order your ally to follow, flank or retreat. Coordinate around the current positions: chasing one enemy can leave the other free to attack your partner.
In Fleet Battle, sink both enemy ships or retain more fleet hull at the time limit. In Breakout, both you and your ally need to reach the eastern exit. An escape mission calls for decisions that differ from trying to win a damage contest.
