A browser pirate game that starts with the voyage, not a download.

What the browser version includes

The browser is the platform, not the entire design pitch. Beyond the Chart contains a run-based route, turn-based ship combat and an evolving vessel built from cards, crew, modules, relics and supplies. Progress and damage persist within the voyage until the ship completes the route or is lost.

The current build is playable while development continues. Individual systems, interface details and balance may therefore change between versions.

What online does—and does not—mean here

The game runs through a web browser. It is not presented as a massively multiplayer world, competitive card ladder or live-service fleet. The experience is a focused single-player voyage.

A browser launch also does not mean a disposable minigame. The design centers on complete runs with route planning, tactical encounters and interacting ship systems.

Built for readable commands on one ship

Turn-based play makes each exchange readable across different devices and connection conditions. Enemy intent, the command hand, hull state and available resources define the problem before an order is issued.

The result is a web-native route into the same core fantasy: command a vulnerable sailing ship, reshape it through difficult choices and see whether the vessel that returns resembles the one that left.
